*Due to the uncertainty of the situation, there is no guarantee a charter flight can take place as described.
We would also like to share the recent updates regarding non-German passport holders and the status of PU letters for family members:
Non-German Passport Holders
We are happy to announce a breakthrough in our negotiations regarding the process of non-German citizens with no residence in Germany. We have clarified the process with the German embassy and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) and we are glad to announce that German company employees and their family members who are non-German passport holders are also eligible to fly with us and will be issued green health codes.
More details on the process these passengers must go through prior to entering Germany or if already in Germany, can be found in our FAQs (Please scan the QR-Code below).
PU-Letter Issuance in Shanghai
To apply for a visa to enter China, passengers need a so-called PU letter. This must be issued by the company and approved by the Chinese authorities. With the support of the German Embassy and the MFA, we have been able to solve PU letter problems for many registered passengers in various regions of China. We are currently working with the relevant authorities at the highest levels on the remaining open cases in Shanghai. Solving this problem is the top priority of the German Embassy and us and we will update you as soon as we have a final statement.
Even if you are facing PU letter problems or just want to fly at a later date in August or beginning in September, please make sure that your company and your passengers are registered in our booking system asap. Important updates (like solving PU letter problems for charter flight passengers, low capacity on flights, regulations regarding testing and green health codes, etc.) are usually only sent to the registered companies in the AHK booking system.
